POWER SELECTION

MYTH POWERS
Yes, all of them.

GAME POWERS
Ultimately, at full power, Apollo would have near-godlike power restored, commanding his domains:
  • The sun
  • Medicine (both curing and inflicting injury & disease)
  • The Arts
  • Knowledge, Truth & Prophecy (not sure how this would manifest in-game, prophecy especially would be difficult)

Plus: Generalized magic that greek gods have, & being able to take on his godly form (mortals can't behold it without being vaporized)

At the start, Apollo could have a weak version of his power from a few of those domains: Minor healing, making himself glow, inflict burns if anyone tries to grapple him, maybe curse someone to speak only in verse for a few minutes, and then slowly start to gain more back at Climactic Moments as he needs them.

ABILITIES
  • Poetry
  • Archery
  • Singing
  • Ability to play any musical instrument
  • Dance
  • Medicine
  • Charisma

ADDITIONAL INFO
He'll be bringing with him his golden longbow, and a quiver that never runs out of arrows.

If there's already an Apollo that's canon to the setting (not necessarily Guardians-specific, but just part of the setting you created) I would be interested in exploring the resulting existential crisis! If he is ever put out of commission, Apollo is an experienced chariot driver
